During the first 11 months of 2017, Yunnei Power sold more than 310,000 engines, with a year-on-year growth of 14.36 percent, while total revenues reached ¥5 billion. Meanwhile, total installed share of Yunnei Power’s engines in the national main automobile plants has reached 31 percent, up 7 percentage points year-on-year. Among them, the installed share of DEV series products was the fastest growing and has reached 15 percent.
“In 2018, sales value of automotive engines alone is expected to reach ¥7.5 billion,” said Dai Yunhui, president of Yunnei Power. In order to achieve the 2018 target, Yunnei Power has enacted a detailed strategic deployment. Overall, it will continue to focus on the lean management of the whole value chain and go deep into five areas including market, quality, cost, service and brand.
Following the continuously advance of China’s supply-side structural reform, Yunnei Power has adjusted the product structure and improved its product pedigree to meet market requirements. Yunnei Power’s products by now have covered engine displacement range of 0.9L-6.7L and it also has made progress in the R&D and application of hybrid power and automatic transmission assembly. It is worth mentioning that Yunnei Power’s intelligent factory project was included in the intelligent manufacturing demonstration project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in 2017.

CHONGQING – Kunming Yunnei Power Co., Ltd. announced on December 9 in Chongqing a revenue target of ¥9 billion for 2018 after a strong 2017.
The development of its brand in particular will be key, according to Dai. “We will use the DEV series products as the brand entry point to explore customers’ demands and continuously improve R&D capability and product quality to enhance brand influence,” said Dai.
According to the 13th Five-Year Plan of Yunnei Power, it will achieve annual output and sales of 800,000 diesel engines and revenues of ¥15 billion by 2020.
